Come spend a delightful day with me, stilling your heart and mind through the rhythm of slow stitches!
DATE: Saturday, March 28th
TIME: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, distracted, or like you can’t catch your breath, you are not alone. The modern pace of life can feel like it’s running ahead of our natural needs and rhythms, leaving us scattered and exhausted. The good news is that you can slow down and find your quiet heart again! Traditional hand crafts like embroidery are a great tool to an unhurried, intentional pace where you can unwind and rest.
This 4-hour embroidery workshop has been designed to introduce you to that joy and stillness of stitching through some foundational embroidery techniques. It is perfect for beginners, though experienced stitchers are absolutely welcome too! I’ll be there as your personal guide and encourager through every step of the process.
We’ll work on an original abstract design inspired by evening primrose flowers that bloomed in my garden last summer. You’ll be given all the supplies you'll need to bring it to life, and everything is yours to keep, so you can continue your embroidery journey at home.
This workshop is intentionally small, with only 5 spots available. We'll gather at a cozy private home in West Nashville from 10am to 3pm, with a relaxing lunch break from 12-1pm. Just bring your own lunch or feel free to hop over to the nearby Bellevue or Nations neighborhoods for a quick bite – there are lots of great options just minutes away.
I can't wait to share the rewarding craft of stitching with you!
